Neighbors United Below Canal (NUBC) represents thousands of stakeholders in the diverse and unique communities below Canal Street and the surrounding area.
We are community organizations, businesses, activists with support from our elected officials.
NUBC’s members have a unified voice against Mayor de Blasio’s proposal to build the tallest jail in the world, standing 350 ft. tall at 124-125 White St, currently occupied by The Tombs and the Manhattan Detention Center, immediately adjacent to Chung Pak low income senior residence.
